While waiting to board at the airport, I'd thought I try my first HDR shot. Typical 3 bracket shot. I know everyone hates HDR but I'd thought I would try it.
Where friendship begins. While at taking pictures at the CN Tower and waiting for the elevator to bring us down to solid ground I saw a couple of kids laughing and thought this is where friendship begins. The carpetted walls provided a nice texture around the frame.
Another lobby. This, as noted above, is Riu Palace, the resort next to Riu Sante Fe. There's something about empty lobbies that I find enticing.
View of the Financial District from the CN Tower.
If a train had eyes, what will it see? <---Stupid
Thought I try doing some motion photography, I like the result.
The beautiful sunset of Cabo San Lucas.
Ola Senior! I don't know why I particularily enjoy taking pictures of hotel lobbies but there's something about the interior design when it is void of people. I guess it is because the lobby of a hotel is symbolic of the hotel's values as it is the first impression of their guests.
Alley way near Esplanade and Jarvis, in the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood. Passed by this a couple times, as it is near my friend's place and always wanted to take a picture, but never had my camera. Not this time, also made me think about getting a nice small Panasonic pocket camera to carry around so I can capture moments without having to carry around an DSLR.
I needed one more image to place into my portfolio and I saw a similar picture like this in my research of photography so I decided to try recreating it and thus asked my friend, Dan, to do some modelling. Thought it turned out pretty well and the random fish his dad captured and presents on their wall was an unexpected pleasure.
A statue of a golden horse as seen in the Bellagio, Las Vegas. The ceiling is littered with many fake multi-colour flowers that have been photographed countless times. Just one more to that list.
